Vi insåg att vi behövde stanna upp och ta några lugna dagar och få lite vardag efter en månad med högt tempo i Vietnam, så vi har parkerat oss här i Huê innan vi beger oss mot Laos. Vad man håller utkik efter i Huê är först och främst vädret. Vädret i Huê är ökänt dåligt då bergen söder om Huê tycks samla all fukt, vilket gör att vädret är dimmigt, fuktigt och det regnar ofta (speciellt i februari-mars!). Igår kom vi dock ut på cykelutflykt under dagen och såg oss omkring, annars så blir det mycket balkonghäng. Vi ska stanna här i nio dagar och det ska regna åtta av dessa dagar. Det gör dock inte så mycket då vi har en del att stå i.
Dagens tips till alla Linköpingsvänner är att gå till Ingeborgs café för att fika och stötta dem när de nu utsätts för maffiametoder av facket! We realized that we needed to stop and take a few quiet days and get some everyday-feeling after nearly a month with a high tempo in Vietnam, so we parked ourselves here in Hue before we are heading to Laos. What to look out for in Huê is first and foremost the weather. The weather in Huê is notoriously bad! The mountains south of Hue seems to collect all the moisture. This makes the weather in Huê foggy, humid and it rains frequently (especially in February-March!). However, we had nice weather the first part of the day yesterday, so we went out on a bike excursion and looked around. We’ll stay here for nine days and it’s going to rain eight of these days, so for the most part of the day we are just chilling on our balcony. The weather does not bother us so much and we keep ourselves occupied anyway.
Tip of the day to all our friends in Linköping is to go to Ingeborg’s cafe for coffee and support them when they are exposed to mafia methods by the union!
